Project overview
Toujours Jewelers is a WordPress and WooCommerce project I built through WebmastersDesktop for a jewelry store in Rolling Hills Estates, California. The goal was to create a premium online catalog that helps visitors explore inventory before visiting the physical store.
Instead of a traditional e-commerce checkout, the site runs in catalog mode. Cart, checkout, and add-to-cart actions are disabled, so the experience stays focused on browsing collections, designers, and product types.

Challenge
The biggest challenge was scale and discoverability. Over time, the catalog grew to 1,000+ products across watches and fine jewelry categories, with dedicated pages for designers like Roberto Coin, Pasquale Bruni, Ippolita, Mattia Cielo, Shy Creation, David Harris, and Carolyn Tyler.
Each designer and product category needed its own optimized landing page so users could find exactly what they were looking for and so those pages could rank independently in Google.
Solution
I built the catalog with WordPress + WooCommerce, using Blocksy as the theme and Greenshift as the Gutenberg block builder. I configured the project specifically for in-store sales, including removal of online purchase paths while preserving strong product browsing, filtering, and internal linking between collections, designers, and categories.
I also set up a custom jewelry inquiry flow so visitors can request bespoke pieces through a contact form. Google reCAPTCHA was added for spam protection, and the client received admin access with a structure that makes it straightforward to add and manage products internally.
The final result is a clean, scalable catalog website that supports local in-store sales, improves search visibility through targeted landing pages, and gives the team full control over day-to-day catalog updates.
